FOWA gives cash,food items to orphans to mark Easter

The President,Fire Service Wives Association (FOWA) Princess Uzezi Karebo has tasked Nigerians to give to the less- privilege in the society during thjs period of Easter.

karebo disclosed this when she led the Women in FOWA to Honour ground orphanage in Nasarawa State on Saturday .

” We ought to show the love of Christ to the less- privilege. We ought to tell them that they are not alone and by showing them love and giving to them,they will remember that someone cares about them,” she said.

Princess Uzezi said the love of Christ was expressed and shared to the needy irrespective of race,age,tribe,religion and status.

The Founder, Honour Ground Orphanage,Prophetess Blessing Ijenwa represented by the Caregiver Miss Esther Uzoma stressed that it was not easy taking care of orphans but the subvention from FOWA will go a long way in meeting their needs.

” I was just telling them that after our Saturday chaos,we will drink garri. But we thank God for the gifts. We are very happy.We were not expecting this but God did it for us today.” she said.

One of the orphans,Miss Jenice Theme appreciated the gesture from FOWA and expressed optimism for a better future.
