COSA91 holds AGM,call on members to support Alma mater

The Christian Commercial College, Oro-Ago in Ifelodun, Kwara state old school Association, 1991 set,has held its 4th Annual General Meeting (AGM) with a call on members to put resources together to help their Alma mata.

The President of the Association, Evang Tayo Odeyemi, in his speech  said the 1991 set of the school has been a force to reckon with as they have been championing the growth and development of education within Oro-Ago and it’s environs.

” Our objectives are to promote unity of purpose in one accord and to create synergy of assistance to our alma mater academically, structurally and in terms of providing infrastructure Also, we have plans of supporting the teachers and the students with incentives and scholarship.” Odeyemi said. 

Christian Commercial College, Oro-Ago in Ifelodun Local Government Area of kwara State was established 1981 and it is a faith based institution to cater for ECWA community of Oro Ago.

However, the Association was established in 2019 and has held AGMs since 2020 and subsequent years in Ilorin, Kwara State Capital.

This year’s COSA91 AGM which was held virtually witnessed the birth of new constitution of the Association which in addition also gave birth to the new Executive members .They are:

President Evang. Tayo Odeyemi,Vice President Mr Tayo Ifebiyi , General Secretary,Mrs Olanrewaju Victoria Funke, Asst. Gen. Sec.Mrs Omowumi Akande,Treasurer, Dr Abdulrasheed Balogun , Financial Secretary, Mrs Funmi Olasunkanmi,Welfare Officer,Mrs Bolanle Ogunshola,PRO one,ASP Femi Afeere , PRO 2 Mrs Biodun Olayode , Technical/Organising Officer,Mr Jide Malomo and Chief Whip,Mr John Bamidele.
