A Solar Energy company,Beebeejump Int’l Limited has provided Solar power systems to over Five hundred thousand Homes and shops in Nigeria,the Regional Sales Manager,North central, Mrs Gloria Adewole has said.
Adewole who disclosed this to Journalists at the ongoing 17th Abuja International Tradefair said the company has offices in Abuja and 36 states across the country with headquarters in Lagos.
“Currently in Nigeria, we have deployed 500,000 Solar Systems in rural communities, and this has also helped to expand our business operations and distribution. We have been able to go into hinterlands where there is no light.
Looking at the Nigerian industry, Beebeejump has seriously contributed to making sure that a lot of homes have access to electricity.”She said.
Adewole further revealed that the company has been able to do this with the grant given by the World Bank through the Rural Electrification Agency (REA) headed by Engineer Ahmad Salihijo.
“Because of the nature and quality of our Solar Home Systems, the Nigerian government took interest in us. Through that, we were able to get grant through the Rural Electrification Agency (REA). That has also helped us expand the distribution of our Solar system.
With the use of this grant we have been able to power a lot of households, hospitals, even schools and shopping malls at affordable prices.”She said.
She revealed that BeebeeJump is collaborating with ten States and have signed Memorandum of Understanding with Zamfara and Ondo states.
“We are in the Abuja Tradefair to create more awareness and to get a lot of tractions. Alot of people have been coming to our stand and looking at our products. Currently, we have started making sales, which shows that people are highly interested in solving their energy problems so the demand is very high.”She aded.
