Must read

The Super Eagles arrived Abuja from Kumasi in the early hours of Saturday, after holding the Black Stars to a goalless draw in the first leg of the 2022 World Cup qualifying playoffs, Completesports.com reports.
In a video clip published on NFF TV, players and officials were seen disembarking from Air Peace airline at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.
The Eagles need an outright win against the Black Stars to qualify for a seventh World Cup.

While a win or a score draw will be enough for the Black Stars to make a fourth appearance at the World Cup.

Up next for the coach Austine Eguavoen-led team is the reverse fixture at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja on Tuesday.

Friday’s result means the Eagles are yet to beat their eternal rivals since a 1-0 in at the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.

It would be recalled that the Eagles secured qualification to the 2002 World Cup in Korea and Japan, after thrashing the Black Stars 3-0 in Port Harcourt.
