The APC Zonal Youth Leader,North Central, Aliyu Zubair, has applauded President Tinubu on the appointment of Olumode Samuel Adeyemi, as the Controller General of the Federal Fire Service.
Zubair disclosed this during a Press Conference held in Abuja on Monday. Zubair said the historic appointment of a son of North Central Nigeria, and a Kogi-born professional is a remarkable recognition of one man’s achievements.
He stated: “It is a loud and clear message from Mr. President that this administration is committed to inclusive governance, to meritocracy, and to the recognition of competence and professionalism across all geopolitical zones of our great country.
“Mr. President, we thank you for finding Olumode worthy of such a sensitive national assignment. He is a seasoned, experienced, and visionary professional whose dedication to service has never gone unnoticed. His elevation to this position brings pride not only to Kogi State but also to the entire North Central region and indeed the youth constituency of Nigeria.
“While we celebrate this well-deserved appointment, we also take this opportunity to humbly appeal to the Federal Government for continuous support. We call for enhanced capacity building and the provision of modern resources that will enable the Controller General and his team at the Federal Fire Service to effectively deliver on their mandate of fire prevention, emergency response, and the protection of lives and property across our nation.
“We are confident that under the leadership of Olumode Samuel Adeyemi, the Federal Fire Service will experience a positive transformation that will inspire trust, build resilience, and ensure the safety and security of our communities.
