The Minister of Solid Minerals Development Dr Dele Henry Alake,has said the upcoming Mining Week is an opportunity to connect, collaborate and transform mining sector.
The Minister in a pre-video message said the event coming up from the 18th to 20th November is a Must-Attend Event for Mining Visionaries.
In the run-up to what has become a veritable annual mining invasion in the Nigerian capital, the Minister said, It is his singular honour and privilege to invite miners and investors to this year’s Nigeria Mining Week at the Abuja Continental Hotel.”
He added: “As the premier event shaping Nigeria’s mining landscape, this ninth annual conference and expo will bring together mining professionals, industry leaders, international investors, government officials and over 60 solution providers from across the globe under the theme: ‘From the inside out: Building the mining sector to be the cornerstone of Nigeria’s economy.’”
Alake said he looked forward to welcoming the delegates and visitors and that their participation presented an opportunity to connect, collaborate and transform the future of mining in Nigeria.
Nigeria Mining Week gathers mining pioneers, investors, regulators, suppliers and service providers in the regions burgeoning extractive industry boasts solid and enjoys longstanding support from leading industry suppliers and projects.
The Ministry of Solid Minerals Development is the official host of Nigeria Mining Week, which is organised by the Miners Association of Nigeria (MAN) in collaboration with PwC Nigeria and Vuka Group.
