The CEO of CherryBrooks,Mr David Dada has said Artificial Intelligence is set to change the face of Customer service delivery in Nigeria.
Dada said this while speaking at the seminar with the theme “Revolutionising Customer Delivery Service through AI” organised by an AI Agency,Cherrybrooks.
He said the whole essence of the programme is to enlighten people and organisations on how to improve efficiency in Customer Service Delivery through Artificial Intelligence.
Dada said this became necessary after a Report by the West African Association of Customer Service Professionals Report showed that Customer Service Delivery in Nigeria was very poor even at its best.
He said: “According to the Report which did a survey accross various sectors of the economy, the Hospitality industry which came out best got a D in Customer Service Delivery. So,this showed how poor Customer Delivery service was in Nigeria. So,we felt we should introduce Artificial intelligence to this sector and show people what AI agents can do.The AI customer care agent can take calls from upto 10 persons at the same time and respond to their needs.
“This will help save time and improve efficiency in customer service delivery and reduce cost by 50 percent. And also, to let people know that Cherrybrooks should be the Go-to organisation when it comes to AI solutions.
“We can elevate your customer experience with our AI- Powered Customer Care Agents, designed to provide instant and seamless support 24/7. By reducing customer wait times and delivering accurate, personalised responses, our virtual agents ensure every customer feels valued and heard. With their ability to handle multiple inquiries simultaneously, you can improve response times, enhance customer satisfaction and free up your human agents to focus on more complex issues.”Dada noted.
The Chairman of CherryBrooks, Mr Kingsley Eneh, said AI has come to stay and CherryBrooks is an AI Agency to help establish it.”Today,we are here to tell people what AI is and what it is not. Also, how they can apply it in various sectors. For instance,in the customer service delivery space, you can reduce cost by deploying AI.We tell people,if you want to improve efficiency and cut down cost, Artificial intelligence is the best choice. All jobs is not going to be done by AI but the repitative jobs like customer service delivery will be taken over by AI.”
Eneh said AI has gone far in other climes and the earlier businesses embrace it,the better.” You can unlock benefits for your business with AI Customer Care Agents.”he said.
The Director,IT Infrastructure Solutions at the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) Mr Oladejo Olawumi, said the use of Artificial intelligence (AI) will help jumpstart the economy and bring about digital transformation.
Olawumi who represented the Director General of NITDA at the event said Artificial intelligence has come to help automate a lot of jobs.”So, artificial intelligence is part of what will help to jumpstart the economy. By using technology, you can see that jobs that are monotonous and repitative can be automated through Artificial intelligence.”
Olawumi said though the fear has been that AI will take over peoples jobs but the technology is also creating new jobs in new areas.”AI has provided opportunity for people to learn new skills. Also, you need people to do things like prompt Engineering and so on.People need to prompt AI as well. So, people are required to provide the human support for AI.”
