Federal Fire Service saves 4.2 billion worth of property in solar inverter fire ‎

The Federal Fire Service responded to a fire outbreak involving solar inverter systems at Binani Printing Press, located in the Central Business District, Abuja.
‎A statement by the National PRO,Federal Fire Service DCF Paul Abraham disclosed that the affected inverter systems were valued at approximately ₦5 billion. Through the prompt response of firefighters, the blaze was contained, with losses estimated at ₦800 million, while property worth about ₦4.2 billion was successfully saved.
‎Shortly after the operation, firefighters responded to another emergency call and successfully rescued a dog that had fallen into a drainage channel, demonstrating the Service’s unwavering commitment to protecting lives, property, and the environment through prompt emergency response and humanitarian rescue operations.
