The Founder and President of WOLMEI,Dr.Mrs Lauretta Achudume who led the members of the association to the community on Saturday said they chose to make the donations to put smile on the faces of the women on International Women’s Day (IWD).

Achudume said:”At Women of Like Minds Empowerment Initiative,we empower women, girls and children. So as we celebrate the International Women’s Day,we thought to come to Jahi community to donate food items to 100 families.

“We are so happy seeing joy on their faces. We have donated foodstuffs to them today and if that will help them meet their immediate need for food,we will be glad. So,if we all can come out and put smiles on the faces of more women and people,I feel the nation will be better.”
