About 100  Micro ,Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have been trained on Business and Financial Management by the Abuja Enterprise Agency (AEA) .

The Managing Director/CEO of AEA, Mal Shehu Abdulkadir, who spoke to the media at the event yesterday said the training has become necessary because the Enterprise Development Service Department realised this gap was missing with many MSMEs they interacted with.

” We discovered must of them do not keep financial records and many do not have simple accounting knowledge that will help their businesses thrive. We want to see that most MSMEs are doing business ethically. When they have this knowledge and put it into practice,it will help them to know how much is coming into their business and how much they are spending on expenses. This will  help them plan well.* Abdulkadir said.

One  of the participants, Tersoo Gundu of Photocarre Four said learning about cash flow estimation helped him to visualise through numbers. “I have also learnt to make financial plans for my business..This I will be able to do is I keep financial records.”He said.

Another participant and CEO of HastJ Fruit Juice, Hassana Omolade said the training has been very impactful. ” What I have learnt about cash flows and outflows today is very  simple and praticable. This is going to help me alot in my business. I want to thank AEA for this free training.” She said
