Poultry Farmer wins 1million in Raven Bank Millionaire promo

A poultry farmer in Ajegunle, Emmanuel Joseph Philip has been announced as the winner of Raven Bank Millionaire programme. Emmanuel, an Electric Electronics graduate of Heritage polytechnic, beat 5 others to clinch the prize money of 1 million naira.

A Statement from the bank says Raven Bank Millionaire programme is specially designed to discover and support the under-privileged in society. 

To arrive at the selection process, each nominee was carefully selected by people, including leaders in their respective communities in Ajegunle, after which a video was shot of each of them in their business locations. 

Emmanuel Joseph Philip says that the money and training will change his life and how he does business going forward.

“I now know how to balance my books. I was taught about how to keep my customers and how to have and maintain customers I know how to manage my sales, and how to keep proper records now.Also,i am happy for the money won.” he said.

Raven Bank’s Chief Marketing Officer, Jude Okoharen, spoke on the bank’s commitment to the programme.

“We believe that if you have an idea and you want to make it happen, you should be able to make it happen. That is why we birthed the Raven Bank Millionaire programme, especially for those with little or no reach.

“The programme uses a model that equips the winner with financial literacy to run his business. As part of this model, Raven Bank has partnered with Money Africa, Africa’s largest financial learning community, to train the winner with technical know-how through practical workshops.”he said
