The book ‘ 7 Conspiracies of Power ‘ Why some Leaders succeed and others fail has been launched in Abuja.
The author of the book,Dr Ike Neliaku said the objective of the book is to identify ‘very fundamental elements that undermine the emergence of creative and exceptional leadership, and qualitative development.’
“The web of conspiracies revealed in this book is ‘intricate and multi – dimensional.’ The seven core areas of conspiracy are treated with dexterity, which are Conspiracy of the Elites,Aides, Religion and Clan.Others are Conspiracy of Foreign Relations,Ego and Environment.”he noted.
The Chairman of the occasion and Chairman of Access Bank Plc ,Dr Mrs Dere Awosika said its time to reflect on all the Conspiracies mentioned in the book as the 2023 election stares us in the face.
” As we go out,let us reflect on this,are we conspirators or villians?We should look out for leaders who are focused,purposeful who stand for truth and can move our nation forward.” she said.
One of the book reviewers, Dapo Oyewole said for a leader to overcome the Conspiracy of Aides,he/she must have a clear vision and be at the drivers seat.
Speaking on the Conspiracy of Ego, another reviewer ,Sa’adatu Falila Hamu Esq.said as the 2023 elections draw close, Nigerians should move away from leaders who have the “messiah complex” to those who are willing to serve.
Another reviewer, Dr Okey Ikechukwu urged everyone to be wary of the Conspiracy of Elites and Religion as they are a varitable tools used by those seeking power the world over.
